QUICK OVERVIEW
Human Design Energy TypesREFLECTORS
- Your Energy Type is how your energy functions.
- Reflectors are the shapeshifters of Human Design; you are extremely flexible and have the ability to be anything you want, whenever you want.
-
- Being able to adjust to different environments is your power move and when done authentically, is what others will value most in you.
- You are very open, so you have the full spectrum of humanity available to you – you’re meant to experiment in that spectrum much more than the rest of us.
- This radical openness, however, makes you especially prone to social conditioning.
- Reflectors are heavily influenced by their environment, so it’s essential that you pay close attention to how you feel in a space.
- Your energy level will ebb and flow and it will also mirror whatever environment you’re in.
- The name Reflector comes from your ability to mirror back to other person who they really are; this is a great gift to both of you!
- When people interact with you, they see what they project out on you reflected back at them.
- Your Strategy is the primary way in which you manifest abstract concepts into your physical reality.
- A Reflector’s Strategy is Being Carried.
- For much the time, the Universe is carrying you rather than directing you, as it does with the other Energy Types.
- In actuality, it will carry you towards your goals dreams if only you would just stop getting in the way.
- You will know if something is right when the Universe repeatedly nudges you to do it through synchronicities.
- Resist to act on the first nudge – since you’re so open, you could be picking up on what someone else around you should be doing, not you.
- Whenever you act in alignment, things fall effortlessly into place, without much effort on your behalf.
- This is you being carried.
- Your Sign is a feeling you get when you’re acting in accordance with your Human Design.
- A Reflector’s Sign is Surprise.
- When you are authentically living your design, you’ll feel in deep awe of how wonderful life is.
- You accomplish this by allowing yourself to be fluid and open.
- Life is full of options that are made to surprise and delight you; when you keep your eyes open to them, you can live in ongoing wonderment.
- The less you lock yourself into one identity and shape shift away, the better your life will flow.
- When you feel surprised, you know you’re onto something great.
Your Not-Self Theme is a feeling you get when you’re NOT acting in accordance with your Human Design.
- A Reflector’s Not-Self Theme is Disappointment.
- Disappointment can show up as: life seeming mundane, feeling low, feeling caged, feeling let down or even overcompensating by going overboard with life experiences.
- Disappointment is always a clue for you change something that feels static and stuck: a routine, a habit, a self-perception…and be more open fluid.
MANIFESTORS
- Your Energy Type is how your energy functions.
- As a Manifestor, you’re here to initiate – you can spark movement through the downloads you receive from Source.
- You don’t have to ‘figure out’ how to do this – you just have to follow your desires and interests that are are unique to you – the right people will come along for the ride and the wrong ones will pull the string to hop off at the next stop.
- Manifestors are often unintentional leaders and (bus) drivers because when you give yourself permission to do what YOU want to do and be seen doing it, the right people stay for the whole route.
- Your words and actions have a self-selection mechanism that sorts people into three different categories for the best possible outcome to take place: “Heck Yeah” “Not Right Now” and “Hell No.”
- When you look at it this way, it gives you permission to not only do whatever you want, you can do so without fearing judgement from others.
- Focus on the riders who celebrate what you’re doing: Heck YEAH!
-
Your Strategy is the primary way in which you manifest abstract concepts into your physical reality.
- The Manifestor’s Strategy is to Inform.
- Remember, you are supposed to do pursue your urges, interests and desires.
- Trust that these urges are not random, but rather part of your Universal Design.
- In order for the right people to line up at your bus stop, it’s essential that you openly share what you’re doing, working on, thinking and considering; in other words, you must inform them.
- The best ways for you to share are in whatever manner feels genuine and authentic to you.
- People want to follow authentic and unapologetic people…so do yourself a favour: accept it and release the Imposter Syndrome!
- Your Sign is a feeling you get when you’re acting in accordance with your Human Design.
- A Manifestor’s Sign is Peace.
- When you’re doing what YOU truly want to do, with no one bothering or pressuring you, you feel at peace.
- More importantly, when you feel at peace, you aren’t putting any expectations on yourself; you simply recognize that all you need to do is what your Divine spontaneous nature urges you to do.
- When you let go of the need to know exactly what to do to achieve your dream life and, instead, trust that your inner urges will lead you right to it, you discover a deep sense of inner peace, along with space to breathe and play.
- Manifestor, when you feel peaceful, you know you’re on the right track!
-
Your Not-Self Theme is a feeling you get when you’re NOT acting in accordance with your Human Design.
- The Manifestor’s Not-Self Theme is Anger.
- Since a Manifestor’s biggest challenge is about being unapologetically in their power, the opposite of that is the feeling of someone or something having control over you.
- Anger doesn’t necessarily mean raging and screaming; it’s an internal feeling like things are not right or not fair.
- We feel anger when we feel we’ve been wronged.
- When you feel angry, the solution is to write your own permission slip to do what your soul truly craves at that moment.
- You can dissolve that anger into peace by accepting yourself and having your own back.
PROJECTORS
- Your Energy Type is how your energy functions.
- Projectors have the ability to see the big picture like no other Energy Type.
- They have a bird’s eye view of whatever the situation is and they innately know how to improve it.
- You are here to fine-tune and make more efficient the specific things that you are interested in.
- Therefore, you will be valued more for what you see rather than what you do.
- Projectors are not built to go go go all the time; you are supposed to spend most of your time watching, learning, processing, refining and developing new systems.
- With this in mind, know that you will need to rest more often than you might have been told is ‘normal’ or necessary to find success in this lifetime.
- Your Strategy is the primary way in which you manifest abstract concepts into your physical reality.
- A Projector’s Strategy is to Wait for the Invitation.
- Being invited can seem a bit abstract – especially if you’ve been conditioned to just go for what you want (like the rest of us).
- The key thing is that you have to make sure that the people you’re inspired to guide with actually want to receive it.
- It’s probable that you’ve given unsolicited advice before and found that it was unwelcome.
- Being invited can be as direct as a request for your services or an offer to take a look.
- It can also be indirect, like someone asking a question to which you can respond or reading body language.
- Your Sign is a feeling you get when you’re acting in accordance with your Human Design.
- A Projector’s Sign is always Success.
- As you now know, your ultimate purpose is to help the rest of us improve the way we live by seeing from up high.
- Success does not make you better than anyone else, nor does it make you an arrogant person.
- Projector, when you feel successful, you know you’re on the right track!
- Your Not-Self Theme is a feeling you get when you’re NOT acting in accordance with your Human Design.
- A Projector’s Not-Self Theme is Bitterness.
- Bitterness can show up as:
- Low grade resentment
- Judgement
- Jealousy
- Focusing on the negative for too long
- Bitterness rears its head to tell you that you are out of alignment with your Human Design.

GENERATORS
- Your Energy Type is how your energy functions.
- Generators are literally energy makers.
- When Generators get excited about something and then put energy into it, it creates more energy for everyone else to enjoy and employ.
- When you your follow your desires, you feel like your motor could go all day without feeling you feeling run down.
- When a Generator does what they love to do, everyone wins.
- When a Generator dislikes what they’re doing, nobody wins.
- Being lit up is your highest calling because when you’re genuinely enthusiastic about something, it inspires, gives fuel and lifts up those around you – you don’t even need to try.
- Your Strategy is the primary way in which you manifest abstract concepts into your physical reality.
- A Generator’s strategy is to Respond.
- The Universe constantly sending you signs of what to do and where to go based on what gives you a full body YES and what does not.
- You don’t have to ‘figure out what you want’; the outside world will give you a stimulus to respond to.
- The key to living your life on purpose is not only saying yes to the things that light you up, but also saying no to the things you don’t.
- When you say no to the things that don’t, you create more space for potential yeses to come in.
- Your decisions really are black and white; there is no grey!
- Your Sign is a feeling you get when you’re acting in accordance with your Human Design.
- A Generator’s Sign is Satisfaction.
- Satisfaction is different from happiness, which represents a positive state of emotion at a single point in time.
- Satisfaction reflects a collective experience or how a person feels about their day/week/month/life as a whole, over the long-term, rather than right now.
- Satisfaction is that feeling you get when life feels full, where each day presents things that please you, whether they be small, medium or large.
- When you string these moments together, you can achieve a level of contentment at the end of each day that feels like life well-lived.
- Generator, when you feel satisfied, you know you’re on the right track!
- Your Not-Self Theme is a feeling you get when you’re NOT acting in accordance with your Human Design.
- A Generator’s Not-Self Theme is Frustration.
- Frustration is the feeling of being stuck and not being able to move forward, even if you try.
- It can show up as irritation or feeling uninspired, blah and/or incapable.
- This is always a signal showing you that you have the power to change your situation by changing one of your thoughts or behaviours around the situation.
- The first step is to notice when you feel frustrated, then decide how you’ll get back into alignment: change your thinking, change your situation, change something!
MANIFESTING GENERATORs
- Your Energy Type is how your energy functions.
- Mani-gens are meant to accomplish many things in one lifetime, so how do you choose?
- Follow your passions; something that sparks inside of you is a signal that will lead you further.
- We don’t know the end of this trip called life, or even the point of it, until we are well into it.
- Trust that your passions will steer you in the right direction; your path is not linear, so it cannot be understood before it unfolds.
- You are here to have more faith in what could be than what already is.
- When you do something that intrigues you, no matter how big or how small, you get gifted more energy so you can keep doing whatever that is.
- It’s the Universe’s way of saying: “Keep going! Stay in this lane for a while.”
- You are hyper-capable, but just because you can do most things, it doesn’t mean you should do everything, especially not for everyone else.
- It’s better to say no to some things and temporarily have less going on; this leaves space for the good stuff to come in.
- Your Strategy is the primary way in which you manifest abstract concepts into your physical reality.
- A Manifesting Generator’s strategy is to Respond.
