I never thought I’d get divorced.

Let alone TWICE.

It seemed really complicated and daunting, but when I started to understand…like, really understand that the cards are archetypes and that they are used to tell a story, something clicked. Before I became a counsellor, I was high school English teacher for eight years. I loved teaching the mechanics of writing and the creative process, but the real joy of my work as a teacher stemmed from helping young people develop their metacognition; it’s so cool to see their light bulbs go off.

As a counsellor, Narrative Therapy is an important component of my practice. You can tell someone the facts over and over again and they likely won’t retain them. But tell them a compelling story to illustrate a point and it’s likely they won’t forget. Human beings find meaning through story.

I first learned about Human Design in November 2021. I was listening to a manifestation podcast and one of the guests was a Human Design practitioner. I was riveted. I quickly discovered that I am a 4/6 Manifestor with an Emotional Authority, but the only thing I needed at that time to take major steps forward was the knowledge that my Strategy is ti inform. At the time, I was doing a lot of Lives on social media but I was holding back and felt awkward.

Learning that I’m supposed to inform released me from my Imposter Syndrome and gave me the permission to do what I want…and what I want to do is this.

I now live by my Human Design and my life keeps becoming more and more seamless. I received the download to merge the Tarot with Human Design in November 2023 and now, here we are. I’m really happy that you’re here, too.

You feel most like yourself when you feel surprised.

You feel least like yourself when you feel disappointed.

You have an incredible capacity to blend in and adapt to your  environment

You need sufficient alone time so that you can get to know what truly lights you up without the influence of energy from those around you.

You feel best waiting 28 days before making major decisions (1 full lunar cycle).

As a mental health practitioner, I am guided by a code of ethics that includes respecting values, enhancing human development throughout the life span, honouring diversity, promoting social justice, safeguarding confidentiality and client empowerment. I bring these same ethical considerations to my courses, charts and counselling practice.

You feel most like yourself when you feel successful.

You feel least like yourself when you feel bitter.

You absorb, expand and reflect the energy of others, but since it is not your own it can leave you totally exhausted and drained.

You have a unique ability to read and empathize with others.

You are  really good at recognising the potential and talents in others.

You are not pushy or forceful in your leadership.

  • You feel most like yourself when you are satisfied.

You feel least like yourself when you are frustrated.

You have unlimited energy when you’re doing something that lights you up.

You feel drained when being around people and/or doing projects that don’t fulfill you.

You dislike open-ended questions – instead, you prefer choices between options.

You experience great personal satisfaction as a result of using your energy efficiently.

You feel least like yourself when you are frustrated.

You can go, go, go with great multitasking skills and the bandwidth to stay on top of a variety of projects at any one time.

You are multi-passionate and are quick to master new things.

You get bored easily.
